Retrofit Applications

1. Provide Consultive sales approach, working with owners, architects, consultants, and general contractors to evaluate existing structure and use, identify crucial issues and concerns, and then design cost-effective solutions.
2. Implement solution plans in a professional and cost0effective manner whether the project involves the repair of one window or the replacement of 10,000 along with the interior repairs required.

Repair

Repair of existing windows and window walls. We offer a two-step program designed to accommodate both architects and owners:

1. Phase one is an integration and mock up to determine the extent of the problems and to use a cost-effective plan to address these issues. It may include retrofitting glass, sealants, hardware, weather stripping, etc. in place.It might require removing materials to our shop for more extensive work and then returning it to the site.
2. Phase two is the rapid implementation of the repair program by our trained and professional staff, ensuring the minimum impact on the units and owners.

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for IFD Inc. IFD performed a very complicated and time-sensitive window installation project for me at The Time and Life Building at 541 Fairbanks Court in Chicago. The project was under extreme time, logistical, and physical constraints and included penalties for late delivery. A number of obstacles arose during the job, however, with excellent communication, teamwork and creative thinking, the job was completed one week ahead of schedule.
